Vera Aelia Xiang Aadland, klarinett

Vera Aadland er en 24 år gammel klarinettist fra Oslo. Hun har en bachelor- og mastergrad fra Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium i København hos John Kruse og studerer nå en postgraduate mastergrad ved Universität Mozarteum Salzburg med Andreas Schablas (Bayerische Staatsorchester). Før studiene var hun elev hos Catherine Berg på Barratt-Due Unge Talenter.

Vera er del av det norsk-tyske orkester- og kammermusikkakademiet KonstKnekt med mentorer fra Berliner Philharmoniker. Hun har vært solist med Forsvarets Stabsmusikkorps og med Oslo Symfoniorkester på deres årlige festkonsert på 17.mai. Vera er også en aktiv kammermusiker, hvor hun blant annet har vært på trio-turné i Saudi-Arabia/Bahrain og vunnet kammermusikklassen i Sparre Olsen-konkurransen. Som orkestermusiker har hun vikariert i Malmö Symfoniorkester og Den Norske Opera & Ballett, og er for tiden soloklarinettist i Ungdomssymfonikerne.

Gunnar Kindel, fiolin

Gunnar Kindel ble født i Hamburg i en musikerfamilie. Etter fiolinstudium hos prof. Rudolf-Maria Müller i Hamburg fortsatte han utdannelsen hos prof. Poppen på musikkhøyskole Detmold.

Fra 1986 til 2007 var han orkestermusiker i Philharmonisches Orchester Hagen of Philharmonisches Orchester Dortmund som gruppeleder. Bortsett fra virksomheten i opera og konsert deltok han i Bayreuth-Festival, Ruhr-Triennale og Schleswig-Holstein-Festival i mange år både som orkestermusiker og kammermusiker.

Da Gunnar flyttet til Bayern 2009 ble han medlem til Tiroler Sinfonieorchester Innsbruck og utvidet samtidig virksomheten med andre orkestre blandt annet WDR Køln, NDR Hamburg og Theater Regensburg. Til tross for mange konsertreiser med stort symfoniprogram spiller han regelmessig konserter med strykekvartett og kammermusikkensembler som "camerata europea" og "ensemble ponticello".

Eileen Siegel, fiolin

Eileen Siegel kommer fra U.S.A., der hun ble utdannet ved The Juilliard School of Music i New York. Senere studerte hun med Sandor Vegh i Salzburg, her spilte hun med Camerata Salzburg både som solist og ensemblemusiker. Mens hun fullførte sin master degree med Camilla Wicks i U.S.A, vant hun 1. Pris i Society of American Musicians competition for unge musikere, som innebar solokonserter i U.S.A. og radio innspillinger. I 1989 ble hun ansatt som tredje konsertmester i Oslofilharmonien,og samme år  hadde hun sin debutkonsert , med strålende kritikker og var solist med Oslo Filharmonien.

Hun har vært solist med flere norske orkestre og deltatt ved festivaler i Norge, Europa og U.S.A. Hun har vært medlem av Det Norske Kammerorkester i flere år og hun spilte i Borealis kammerensemble. De spilte inn flere cd innspillinger og Schonberg´s 2 strykekvartett ble nominert til Spillemanns prisen. Hun underviser ved Barratt Due MusikkInstitutt hvor mange av hennes elever har vunnet priser i konkurranser. Hun har fått Freia Prisen for sitt engasjement som aktiv kammermusiker.

Harald Aadland, fiolin

Harald Aadland er 1. konsertmester i Kringkastingsorkesteret og lærer på Norges Musikkhøyskole. Ved siden av dette har han en omfattende solistisk og kammermusikalsk virksomhet. Som primarius i Den Norske Strykekvartett i 9 år deltok han på en rekke turneer/festivaler og plateinnspillinger. Han har som solist eller kammermusiker også deltatt på Festspillene i Bergen, Risør Kammermusikkfest, Oslo Kammermusikkfestival og Bath Festival.

Av innspillinger på CD kan nevnes verk av Halvorsen, Bull og Atterberg som solist med Kringkastingsorkesteret. Med samme orkester urframførte han Knut Vaages fiolinkonsert i 2015.

Dagny Wenk-Wolff, fiolin og bratsj

Dagny Wenk-Wolff ble født på Goksem, Lindesnes og studerte hos Leif Jørgensen, Sándor Zöldy, Adelina Oprean, Sándor Végh og Camilla Wicks. Hun vant Premio Chigi Saracini i Siena i 1983 og i 1991 vant hun 1. pris for fiolin og overall prisen (for alle instrumentene sammenlagt) i Oklahoma International Competition. Siden 1991 er hun medlem av kammerorkesteret Camerata Salzburg. Dessuten har hun i mange år medvirket ved kammermusikkfestivalene i Sarasota, Yale, Prussia Cove Open Chamber Music, La Stravaganza di Roma, Amsterdam Schubert Festival, Ascoli Piceno, mfl.. Med disse erfaringene bestemte hun seg for å grunnlegge den Internasjonale Kammermusikkfesten på Lindesnes i forbindelse med opprettelsen av Fjellhallen ved Lindesnes Fyr i 2004.

Gustavo Vieira Rebelo, bratsj

Gustavo Rebelo, born on the 21st of Nov. 2001, started his studies at 8 years of age at the Calouste Gulbenkian Conservatory of Music, in Aveiro.

He currently attends Prof. William Coleman’s class at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg (Austria). His studies are also frequently mentored by Prof. Ana Bela Chaves.

He is, since 2022 a scholarship holder for the ‘Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now’ fund in Salzburg.

Gustavo has participated in several national and international music competitions, having received honors such as the 1st prize in the “Golden Classical Music Awards” (USA), along with an invitation to play at the Weill Recital Hall, the 1st prize in the 9th National Paços’ Premium Competition (Portugal), the 2nd prize in the 8th Vigo International Strings Competition (Spain), the 2nd Prize in the Viola category of the ‘Verão Clássico’ Festival Academy Awards, among others.

Throughout his academic career he has participated in several masterclasses and courses, ran by teachers and musicians such as Miguel da Silva, Francien Schatborn, Tatjana Masurenko, Maté Szucs, Leo De Neve, Gérard Caussé, Hariolf Schlichtig, Kim Kashkashian, Thomas Riebl, Willliam Coleman, Lars Anders Tomter, Nobuko Imai, Hartmut Rohde, Wilfried Strehle and Ana Bela Chaves.

In the chamber music field, his studies have received significant impulses from pedagogues and musicians such as Ana Bela Chaves, William Coleman, Lars Anders Tomter, Cibrán Sierra Vázquez, Oliver Wille and Rainer Schmidt.

Participation in chamber music ensembles was also a central part of his artistic development, taking part in concerts of the Agon Ensemble (Italy) and the Juventus Ensemble (Portugal) as well as the BEYRA Chamber Artistic Lab (Portugal), to name a few.

Throughout his studies he has collaborated with several youth orchestras, such as JOP (Portuguese Youth Orchestra- Jovem Orquestra Portuguesa), from 2017-2020 and the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra (MYO), in the 2020 edition, the 2021 edition of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), and the Angelika Prokopp Sommerakademie of the Vienna Philharmonic, as well as collaboration with orchestras such as the München Bach-Orchester, the München Chamber Orchestra (MKO), the Bayerisches Kammerorchester Bad Brückenau, The Kammerphilarmonie Landshut as well as the Philarmonie Salzburg.

Most recently he has been chosen to participate as an academist and scholarship holder for the Saline Royale Music Academy, with Prof. Lars Anders Tomter, the Marvão International Music Academy, with Prof. Hariolf Schlichtig, the Verão Clássico International Music Festival & Academy, with Profs. Miguel da Silva and Lars Anders Tomter, the International Mendelssohn Festival Hamburg with Prof. Hartmut Rohde the Lichtenstein International Music Academy, with Prof. Thomas Riebl, the International Musicians Seminar Prussia Cove (IMS), under the tutelage of Prof. Thomas Riebl and David Waterman.

Most recently, Gustavo has also been selected to take part in the 2025 Yellow Barn Music Festival, in Putney, Vermont (USA), under tutelage of Prof. Pauline Sachse, Prof. Krzysztof Chorzelski and Prof. Kim Kashkashian.

Africa Alaìde Dobner, cello

Africa Alaide Dobner

Born in 2002, Africa Alaìde Dobner began her musical journey with piano at the age of four before transitioning to the cello at twelve. She studied under M° Silvia Chiesa at the "Conservatorio Claudio Monteverdi" in Cremona, where she graduated in 2023, completing her final academic year at the Music and Arts University of Vienna (MUK).

Africa has participated in masterclasses with renowned cellists, including Giovanni Sollima, Leonid Gorochov, Lazlo Fenyo, Vashti Hunter and attended the Pavia Cello Academy and the chamber music course of Accademia Santa Cecilia in Roma. By all means, she entered the world of chamber music making very soon, taking part to the quartet program at the European Chamber Music Academy in Fiesole and as part of "C3," a cello ensemble led by M° Silvia Chiesa, thanks to which she played at festivals as "I Concerti del Quirinale" and the Amiata Piano Festival.

She is an active and passionate chamber musician, performing frequently in trio and quartet.

Africa is currently pursuing a master's degree at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg with M° Enrico Bronzi.

Maarten Jansen, cello

Maarten Jansen studied cello in Utrecht, with Elias Arizcuren, Cologne, with Claus Kanngiesser, Paris, with Philippe Muller, and Freiburg, with Christoph Henkel.

Maarten won the first prize at the national cellocompetition in 1993,

As a soloist he performed concerti of Dvorak, Haydn, Saint Saens, Schumann, Elgar, Beethoven Tripel, Brahms Double, Vieuxtemps,  Ibert, Couperin, Tartini, C.P.E. Bach, Leo, Tchaikovski’s Rococo Variations and Bruch’s Kol Nidrei & Adagio on Keltic themes, with various amateur and highschool orchestras, and the Montreal Chamber Orchestra.

Chambermusic he played at Spectrum-Concerts Berlin, the Internationaal Kamermuziekfestival Utrecht and the Chambermusicfestival for prizewinners of the ARD-competition.

He made CD-recordings with the NOG-ensemble and the Cello Octet Conjunto Iberico, and is the cellist at Janine Jansen’s Vivaldi Four Seasons and Bach Concertos.

He performed as solocellist with the NoordNederlands Orkest in 2006-2007, the Münchener Kammerorchester in 2004, the Niederösterreichisches Tonkünstlerorchester in 2005, the MetropoleOrchestra 2007-2018, and the Kristiansand Symphony from 2018 up until now. He is a regular guest player at the concertgebouworchestra and the Nederlands Kamer Orkest.

Per Rundberg, piano

Per Rundberg ble født i Skellefteå, Sverige og begynte sin utdannelse ved Yehudi Menuhin School i England som 15-åring. Videre studier førte ham til Salzburg, Paris, Budapest og Stockholm. Undervisning hos Murray Perahia kompletterte utdannelsen.

Han gir regelmessig konserter i hele Europa og i USA og har gjentatte ganger blitt invitert av betydende festivaler som Aspekte Festival, Schleswig-Holstein, Salzburger Festspiele, Feldkirch Festival, Festival di Pasqua, Roma og Bilbao 2001.

Per Rundbergs kammermusikkpartnere er bl.a. Dietrich Fischer-Diskau, Alfons Kontarsky, Benjamin Schmid og Martin Grubinger. Sammen med sistnevnte ble han utvalgt av Wiener Konzerthaus for en «Rising Stars»-turne i sesongen 2007/08 som tok dem til noen av verdens største musikksentre: Carnegie Hall, New York, Palais des Beaux Arts, Brüssel, Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, Philharmonie, Köln, Konzerthaus Wien, så vel som Luxemburg, Stockholm, Birmingham og Athen.
